Died, at the home of Helmuth Brandt, on Friday, September 23d, Wilber Roscoe, youngest child of Mr. and Mrs. Helmuth Brandt, at the tender age of 11 months. The light of the household has thus been ruthlessly extinguished by the hand of death. A bud which gave promise of a beautiful flower and fruit, was nipped in its infancy, and sorrow reigns supreme in the household. The sympathy of the community were best displayed at the funeral, and by the immense display of floral offerings which literally buried the casket under a mass of beautifully and tastefully arranged garlands, wreaths and baskets. The funeral occurred on Sunday, Rev. Dickhoff officiating.
