Elkader Register, Thur., 28 Apr. 1892. From the Dubuque Telegraph, undated.

We clip the following from the Dubuque Telegraph: "John O'brien of Elkader, Clayton county, about sixty years old, has been an inmate of the Dubuque county poor house. He came to town yesterday and wanted to be sent to the hospital, which the authorities reluctantly consented to do, as they thought he was hardly sick. However, he died at the hospital this morning at two o'clock. He will be buried in Key West to-morrow morning."
