Elkader Register, Thur., 14 Jan. 1892.
Our community was burdened by sorrow Wednesday morning under the tidings that about 7 o'clock that day Mrs. Fred. Orr, of Highland, had quietly breathed her last. The lady was troubled by la grippe, but no thought was had that she was in a dangerous condition, until those in attendance found that her spirit had fled. The funeral will probably be held Friday morning.
