Elkader Register, Thur., 15 Aug. 1889. Strawberry Point column.

Mrs. Lorenzo Glass residing on the J. Ball place near this place, died on Saturday last. On that date her husband and sons went to Elkader on business, leaving her home alone, and in her usual health. On their return they were horrified to find her dead, she having passed away some time previous to their return. Deceased was about 50 years of age. The funeral took place on Monday and was largely attended.
