Elkader Register, Thur., 15 Aug. 1889.

John Patterson, a son of Joseph Patterson died at his home near Elgin on the 07th inst., at the age of 21 years, from inflammation of the bowels. The remains were interred in the cemetery in Wagner township on Friday last.
