Elkader Register, Thur., 09 May 1889.

George Duff, son of Wm. Duff, Sr., died at his home in Highland township, Monday, April 29th, 1889, of diphtheria, at the age of 15 years. He was buried in the cemetery at the stone school house, Monday afternoon. The parents have the sincere sympathy of their many friends.
