Elkader Register, Thur., 07 Feb. 1889. Guttenberg column.

The eight year old daughter of Mr. Lueck, our lumber dealer, died from diphtheria, on Saturday night. The little victim was one of our brightest little girls, and it is with the greatest regret that we chronicle the news of her death. The afflicted family have the sympathy of our entire community.

Note: Helena M. Lueck 1881-1889, has a gravestone in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery
