Gallagher, Henry died 1888

Elkader Register, Thur., 06 Dec. 1888.

Last Wednesday evening an old man named Henry Gallagher was run over by the cars at North McGregor, and lost his leg, it being amputated above the knee. He was a resident of Harper's Ferry, where he followed the occupation of blacksmith. He was removed to his home on Thursday and died that afternoon.
