Elkader Register, Thur., 02 Aug. 1888. Elkport and Vicinity column.

The remains of Thomas Lawler were shipped to Littleport on Tuesday for burial. Tom, as he was generally known here, was an old resident. Several years ago he disposed of his property and we learn, turned over the proceeds to a benevolent society in Dubuque for his support the remainder of his life.
