Elkader Register, Thur., 07 Jun. 1888.

Died, at her home near Garnavillo on Friday, June 01, of consumption, Mrs. Adam Kister, aged 63 years. Mrs. Kister was born in Burchhaum, Chur Hessen, Germany, and emigrated to this country 16 years ago. She was the mother of a large family of children, all of whom are grown up and engaged in business. Her remains were buried in the Catholic cemetery on Sunday.
