Robert Latta, son of E. R. Latta, died of consumption at his home in Guttenberg, Iowa, at 12 o'clock p.m. on the 22d inst. Rob. was a great sufferer especially toward the close of his illness, but the summons came and he answered the call to that better land from which no traveler returns. The funeral services were conducted by the Rev. E.L. McNamee, assisted by Rev. R. Ricker, of Colesburg, on the 24th inst., in the presence of a large concourse of relatives and friends.
