Elkader Register, Thur., 02 Feb. 1888. Garnavillo column.

Died, at the home of J. G. Kaiser, on Wednesday, Jan. 25, Mrs. Elizabeth Kaiser, at the advanced age of 83 years. She was born in Hanover, Germany, June 03, 1805. Her husband, Mr. H. Kaiser, died in 1874. Three sons survive her, all of whom are married and the heads of large families. Mr. J. G. Kaiser, the eldest, at whose home she passed her declining years, and where she died, is one of our most prominent farmers, Mr. H. H. Kaiser is a large farmer in Farmersburg township, and Wm. Kaiser, the youngest, is also a large farmer in Farmersburg, and is treasurer of the Clayton County Agricultural Society. Her remains were buried in our cemetery oon Saturday, followed by a large concouse of friends.
