Elkader Register, Thur., 10 Nov. 1887.

H. W. Buringame, one of the early settlers at McGregor, Iowa, died on Sunday, October 30th, at the age of _7 (looks like 67) years. For several years he was a railroad contractor, but of late has been filling the offices of Justice of the Peace and Assessor of McGregor. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity, under whose auspices he was buried on Monday of last week. An aged wife and two children survive him.
