Elkader Register, Thur., 15 Sept. 1887. From the Postville Review, undated.

Died, at the home of her parents in Grand Meadow township, on Sunday, Sept. 04th, of consumption, Louisa C. Leui, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Leui, aged seven years and four months. A large procession of sympathizing friends of the family followed the remains to the Grand Meadow cemetery.
