Ebendorf, Amelia 1836 - 1887

Clayton County Journal, 10 Aug. 1887.

DIED: - Mrs. Amelia Ebendorf died Thursday August 04th, at her home in Boardman township about three miles west of Elkader. She was the wife of Fred Ebendorf who died about five months ago leaving his family in destitute circumstances and dependent on the county. Mrs. Ebendorf was a native of Germany and was born in 1836 thus being 51 years of age. She was sick but one day of some bowel trouble and her death was quite sudden. The funeral occurred Friday, Rev. Seifert officiating.
