Clayton County Journal, 27 Apr. 1887.

Another old man and pioneer of Fayette County, Arne Engbretson (Embretson ??), over 90 years of age, has after a long time of sickness departed this life. His remains were brought to the Norwegian Lutheran cemetery in Grand Meadow, on Tuesday, April 19th. The deceased came to this country from Norway, over 35 years ago, and located near Clermont, Fayette County, where he has since had his home. He leaves an aged wife and a son to mourn the loss of a loving husband and father. That one funeral took place on the same day at each of three cemeteries is surely the first time it has happened among us.
