Elkader Register, Thur., 28 Apr. 1887. Volga column.

Mrs. Maria Potter died on Sunday morning April 24th, 1887; aged 90 years, at the home of her son John M. Potter, in Sperry township. Mrs. Potter was formerly a resident of Eden, Fayette County, but on the death of her husband about three years ago, removed to this township. She was buried beside her husband in Eden.
