Elkader Register, Thur., 10 Mar. 1887. Garnavillo column.

Died at the home in Read township, on Friday March 4th, Miss Margereth Spence. The deceased had many good qualities which made many friends for her among our people. Her remains were buried at the Catholic cemetery on Monday. We are without further particulars.
