Fritz, Augusta died 1887

Elkader Register, Thur., 17 Feb. 1887.

The 9 year old girl of August Fritz died Monday, of membranous croup. Funeral took place Tuesday, Rev. Brier officiating. This is the second child Mr. Fritz has lost this winter by the same disease. The parents have the sympathy of hosts of friends in their sad affliction.

Note: She has a gravestone in Immanuel Lutheran cemetery
