Elkader Register, Thur., 09 Dec. 1886.

DIED- At the family residence in Wagner township, on Wednesday, Dec. 01st, 1886, occurred the death of Mrs. James Brooks, after a long sickness from consumption. The family have the heartfelt sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.

Note: The burial of Margaret (Miller) Brooks, w/o James, is recorded in the Eno cemetery.
