Elkader Register, Thur., 14 Oct. 1886.

DIED- On Monday occurred the death of Grandma Nolan, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Thomas Downey, in Cox Creek township. Mrs. Nolan was among the early settlers of this county, having resided here for over 30 years. She was about 90 years of age. The funeral occurred yesterday, her remains being laid away to their final rest in the Catholic cemetery at this place. The funeral was largely attended by her numerous friends.
