On Sunday morning, September 12th, 1886, occurred the death of Edward Witter, step-son of William Lang. His death resulted from the effects of breaking his legs by being thrown from his horse while returning from the funeral of C. Biehler. Deceased was a bright young man, who was well thought of in this community, and his funeral was quite largely attended. He was about twenty years of age.
