J. H. Eilers, one of the old residents of Guttenberg, died on Saturday evening, July 17. Monday morning he was buried in the Catholic cemetery. Services were conducted under the auspices of the Catholic church. Almost daily our ranks are decreasing as one by one our fellow citizens drop out of line and pass away.
