Died- At Guttenberg on Saturday, May 15, Mrs. Louise Schuette, wife of H. B. Schuette, at the age of 24 years and 6 months. Mrs. Schuette was the step-daughter of Mr. Helmuth Brandt, of this place. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Feb. 16, 1852. She was married to H. B. Schuette on March 16, 1882, since which time she lived at Guttenberg. Mrs. Schuette was a lady of refinement and culture, and her friends placed great hopes in her future, but consumption had marked her for an early grave. For the past two years, she slowly declined until death ended her sufferings. Her remains were buried at this place on Monday. Rev. Sommerlad officiated. A large number of friends from Guttenberg and this place followed the remains, and sympathize with the grief stricken husband in this his great bereavement. May she rest in peace.
