KNICKERBOCKER, KICKERBOCKER

Clayton County Journal, 21 Apr. 1886. Wood column.

Mrs. A. Kickerbocker (Knickerbocker ??), whom we spoke of in our last as being very low, died on the 12th, at 3o'clock a.m., at the age of 65 years. Deceased was born in Potter County, Penn., and came to Iowa in 1870, where she has since resided until death called her to a better world. She leaves a husband and five children to mourn her loss. Her remains were interred in the Wooldridge cemetery Tuesday, April 13. A large concourse of friends attended her funeral to show their last respects to a truly good woman.
