Scherr, infant daughter died 1886

Elkader Register, Thur., 08 Apr. 1886.

On Thursday morning of last week occurred the death of the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Scherr, of lung fever. The funeral occurred on Friday afternoon and was quite largely attended. We are requested by Mr. and Mrs. Scherr to return their heartfelt thanks to those kind friends who so kindly assisted them during the sickness of their little daughter.

Marriage records: Albert Scherr & Ida Schopp were married at Elkader 5/17/1885. The couple removed to Dubuque in 1888 (per Ida's obit), and are buried in Linwood cemetery. Unknown where their daughter was buried.
