Elkader Register, Thur. 04 Mar. 1886.

Died- At her home in Clayton, Iowa, on Wednesday, February 24th, 1886, Mrs. Frank L. Hodges, aged about 40 years. Mrs. Hodges has been a sufferer for a long time past from cancer of the breast, which finally caused her death, although everything that loving hands or medical skill could do was done for her. Mrs. H., was a daughter of V. DeLorimer, a former merchant of Clayton, and was, we think, born and reared in Clayton county. She was a member of the Catholic church, and the funeral, on Friday last, was from that church. She leaves a husband and four children to mourn the loss of a kind and loving companion and mother.
