MONONA: Mrs. Harvey Stoehr, 35, died about three o'clock Tuesday morning at her home in Cedar Rapids, having been in poor health for the past few years. Funeral services were held at 10:30 o'clock on Thursday morning from the home of her eldest brother, Arthur J. Wirkler, with burial in the city cemetery. Rev. F. Schepple of McGregor, an uncle of Mr. Stoehr, officiated.
Surviving are the widower, Harvey Stoehr, and little son, Dicky Joe, of Cedar Rapids; four brothers, Arthur J. Wikler, Orville H. Wirkler, Eld_ W. Wirkler and Edward Wirkler, all of Monona, and six sisters, Amanda, Mrs. Elzer Schierholz of Luana, Lovina, Mrs. George Bothel and Adele, Mrs. William B. Wiethorn of Monona, Mahala, Mrs. Joe Lambert of Atlantic, and Marie, Mrs. J. Skilling, and Nora, Mrs. Foster Jenkins, of Pasadena, Cal. The eldest sister, Alma, Mrs. W. J. Miller, and one brother, Bennie Wirkler, preceded her in death.
Esther Wirkler, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wirkler, Sr., was born and reared at Monona and when a young woman was married to Harvey Stoehr, first living at Luana, where Mr. Stoehr was associated with his father in the hardware business, and later moving to Cedar Rapids, where her death occurred.
