Clayton County Register, Thur., 03 Sept. 1931.

On Saturday p.m. Mr. Joseph Biederman, who lives near Guttenberg, died at his home very suddenly. Mr. Biederman has lived on a farm near here all his life. Several years ago Mrs. Biederman preceded him in death and he has been living with his son, Joseph, and family. There are three sons, Joseph, Carl and Harry, and three brothers, John of Dubuque and George and Jacob of Guttenberg, to mourn his death.

The funeral was held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran church with the Rev. James Sopko officiating. Interment was made in the city cemetery.
