Elkader Register, 17 Apr. 1930. Monona column.
Mrs. Chas. F. Kaiser, nee Koenig, passed away at her home near Monona on Sunday afternoon about 4:30. She had been in ill health for about the last year, and the long and severe suffering she bore patiently to the end always trusting her Savior. Mrs. Kaiser was a good Christian woman and many, many times before her death she prayed with her pastor and also received private Communion at her home when she requested it. She was a faithful member of the Ladies Aid and this organization will sorely miss her ever ready helping hand. She leaves to mourn her death her husband, Charles Kaiser; three children, Alvin, Walter, and Cornelia, many other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, April 09, at the Lutheran church, Rev. A. Daugs officiating. Burial was made in the city cemetery.
