Elkader Register, Thur., 30 Jan. 1930. Elkport column.

Miss Brown daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Brown, age 28 years, died at her home in Elk township Friday afternoon, January 24. She has been an invalid for a number of years and death came as a great relief. She is survived by five sisters and two brothers. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon, Jan. 26 from her home to the church at Bethel. Interment was made in the Bethel cemetery.
