Amund Larson, a resident of Wagner township, Clayton county, passed away at his home Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock December 11th. Mr. Larson had been ailing for several months but was able to be around until the last month of his illness.

Deceased was born in Gulbransdahl, Norway, December 9th, 1863, and came to America when about eighteen years of age, where he engaged in farming together with other occupations.

On December 15th, 1891 he was united in marriage to Marie Christenson. They resided on a farm in Boardman township moving in February 1910 to the home in which he and his family were living at the time of his death.

Mr. Larson is survived by his wife, one son, Harry O. Larson, who with his family are living on the home farm, one daughter, Mrs. Fred Rugland living on a farm in Wagner township, and one grandson.

He had made many friends who sympathize with the family in their sorrow.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. N. Arveson Tuesday afternoon December 14th, at the Norwegian Lutheran church and burial was in the Lutheran cemetery. The pall bearers were: C. O. Hulverson, Charles Seeland, Nicholas Johnson, Hans Helgerson, Gunder Rugland and J. P. Meyer.
