DIED - At Farmersburg, Clayton county, Iowa, Dec. 17, 1859, of Typhoid Fever, Joseph Neill, native of Co. Monahaw, Ireland, aged 64 years and 0 months.

Mr. Neill came to this country some 13 years ago. He was a kind husband, an affectionate father and a benevolent friend - his hand was open and his table spread for acquaintance and strangers.

He suffered severely, and bore it patiently - his trust was in Christ alone for salvation, and when his race was almost run, he joined in ringing the praise of Jesus, and felt and exultingly declared he was ready to go home.

While we mourn his loss, we sorrow not as those without hope. A wife and children are left to mourn the departure of their best and truest earthly friend.
