Elkader Register, Thur., 22 July 1920. Local column.

Wm. Marxer, an inmate at the County Asylum, died Suddenly Tuesday p.m. He was working in the garden when he was suddenly stricken with heart failure. A doctor was called but he passed away in a few minutes. Marxer was transferred to the County Asylum from Independence in June 1916.
