Elkader Register, Thur., 22 Apr. 1920.
Mr. and Mrs. P. J. Hyde mourn the death of their infant daughter Dorothy Ruth, who passed away Friday morning April 16th after an illness of only a few days.
The little one was born June 18, 1919 and was not quite ten months old. Too frail for this life God called her to the eternal home. "of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."
She is survived by her father, mother, two sisters and three brothers. The funeral services were held Sunday from St. Joseph's church, Rev. Father Taken officiating. The sympathy of the community is with the family in their loss.
