Elkader Register, Thur., 15 Apr. 1920. North Buena Vista column.

On April 8th occurred the death of Mrs. Thomas Hoffman* at her home here at the age of sixty-five years and her remains were taken to Guttenberg for burial on the 10th. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband and two daughters, Mrs. David Tinkey of Guttenberg and Mrs. Jim Johnston of McCartney, Wis., and a number of grandchildren. Among those from here who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Edward Saylor, Mr. and Mrs. James Johnston, Mr. and Mrs. George Wick, Bert Tucker and son Archie, George Hafel and Thomas Hoffman.
