The death of Henry Nading near Littleport occurred Sunday after a few days illness with the "flu." He leaves a wife and three small children to mourn his death.

Henry Myrton Nading, the son of W. J. and Corintha Nading, was born in Cox Creek Township, Clayton County, Iowa, December 01, 1889; and passed away at his home south west of Littleport, Iowa, February 21st, 1920, at the age of 30 years, 2 months and 20 days. On February 24, 1912, he was united in marriage with Miss Flossie Kellogg. Three children were born to them who with their mother remain to mourn the departure of a loving husband and father. He leaves besides, his aged father, nine brothers and two sisters all of whom live in that vicinity. A large number of other relatives also survive him and numerous friends are sorrowing because of his early demise. The funeral service was held at the home February 24th ; it being the eighth anniversary of his wedding. It was conducted by the Rev. S. C. Br_tnall of Edgewood and a large number of friends and relatives were in attendance. The remains were laid to rest in the Littleport cemetery. Mr. Nading was a hard working young man who tried to take his place in the community and care for his family. He was a good neighbor and friend. The sympathy of the community is extended to his wife and children in their bereavement, and to other members of the family in their sorrow.
