Elkader Register, Thur., 05 Feb. 1920. Goshen column.

Saturday afternoon while Johnny and Marcus Adams, aged 11 and 13, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Adams, were upstairs in their home examining a rifle recently purchased, the gun was accidently discharged and the ball struck Marcus in the breast killing him almost instantly. The family has the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
