Albert Wagner was born on November 5th, 1858, in Garnavillo township, and died on December 10th, 1915, at the age of 57 years, 1 month and 5 days. His entire life with the exception of a few years was spent in this vicinity. On November 5th, 1883, he was united in marriage to Wilhelmina Berelz. Five children were born to this union.
The deceased was a carpenter by trade and was a master mechanic.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Rev. Braun officiating.
Besides his wife he is mourned by his five children: Almg Buell, of St. Paul; Grace Welsch, of Mason City; Myrtle, Hazel and Reuben at home; one son, George, preceded the father in death; one sister, Mrs. Hubert Kister; one brother, Jos. Wagner, both of Monona.
The out-of-town attendants were: Mr. and Mrs. Wm Buell, of St. Paul, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. C. Welsch, of Mason City; Mrs. Hugert Kister, Albert Kister, Mrs. Alice Schrady, Jas. Wagner, David Snell and Chas. Blietz, of Monona, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Kruse and son George, of Luana.
