Eugenie Badger was born in Maynard, Iowa, August 28th, 1879. On December 25th, 1894, she was united in marriage to Newton Belden. To this union were born seven children, two of which preceded her to the better world. On November 28th, 1915, Mrs. Belden contracted measles, which was the cause of her death. Besides her husband and children she leaves four brothers and four sisters and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her early death. She was a firm believer in Christ and was a member of the M.E. church of Volga City.
