Register and Argus, 11 Nov. 1915. Littleport column.
Mrs. Henry Pust died at her home early Saturday morning after an illness which has extended over the past year, and while her death was not unlooked for, it came quite suddenly, and was thus a shock to both friends and acquaintances. Mrs. Pust was an old resident here, having spent practically all her life at this place, and was hence quite widely known.
She leaves, besides her husband, four children to mourn the loss of a faithful wife and devoted mother. These children have all grown to manhood and womanhood and are Mrs. Lizzie Greenawald, who resides near Des Moines; Mrs. F. J. Liddy and C. C. Pust, who reside here, and Emil, whose home is in Alberta, Canada. All were present at the funeral, as were also Mrs. Pust's brother, Fred Peick, Sr., and wife, of Edgewood. A brother, Adolph, who resides in Minnesota, a sister, Mrs. M. J. Curran, of Chicago, and another sister, Mrs. Samp, of Kearney, Neb., were unable to be present.
Mrs. Pust was born in Baltimore and with her parents came to St. Louis, Mo., and later to Clayton County. She married Henry Pust in 1870 and has since made this town her home. She was 63 years old at the time of her death. The bereaved family have the sympathy of all who know them.
