Register and Argus, 04 Nov. 1915.
Peter T. Ulberg died at his home in St. Olaf, Thursday, October 28th, 1915. His health had been failing for about two years but he had kept up and about until within a few days of his death.
Deceased was born in Wagner township, Clayton County, October 17th, 1861. He was educated in the schools of the township and brought up in the Lutheran faith, being baptized by Rev, Hjork and confirmed as a member of the Norway Lutheran congregation at the age of 15 years, by Rev. Waldeland.
His early life was spent on the farm, but having a natural aptitude for things mechanical he took up the jewelers trade and has been engaged in that business at St. Olaf for the past seventeen years.
Mr. Ulberg was a man of high character, scrupiously honest and upright in all his dealings and his death will be mourned by a wide circle of friends and relatives. He is survived by three brothers, Tollef, Gisle and Gilbert, all living in Wagner township; also three sisters, Alice, of Wagner township; Mrs. Julius Peterson and Mrs. Hans Hanson, of Boardman township. He had never married.
The funeral services were held Sunday at the Norway Lutheran church and were very largely attended. Rev. Arveson officiated with the Norwegian services at the home and in English at the church.
