Register and Argus, 27 May 1915. Littleport column.

Rudolph Meyer, second son of Geo. Meyer, residing east of town, died at the family home Saturday morning, May 22nd, of tuberculosis from which he has been a patient sufferer the past several months. He was up and around most all the time and only a week ago came to town in the family auto. Rudolph was born in Volga township Oct. 7tth, 1884, and was therefore nearly thirty-one years of age at the time of his death. He leaves a father, two sisters and two brothers to mourn his demise, his mother and two sisters having preceded him to the great beyond, besides a large circle of friends who all extend their sympathy to the bereaved family. The funeral was held Tuesday morning from the Catholic church, the burial taking place at St. Joseph's cemetery* south of town.
