Register and Argus, 27 May 1915.

The death messenger came to Mrs. Franz Lemke yesterday afternoon. She was with Mrs. Reinhardt, a neighbor, and they were going to attend the weekly meeting of the Frauen Verein, which was to be held at the Wm. Becker home. As she started to ascend the steps she fell over into Mrs. Reinhardt's arms and expired. She was well along in years and we understand had had similar spells before. Funeral services will be held at the residence Sunday afternoon at 1:30 and at 2:00 o'clock at the German church, Rev. Franke officiating. Burial will be in the East Side cemetery.
