On last Thursday evening, April 22, at 5:10 o'clock, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Keppler, after a weeks illness, the cause of his death being peritonitis. Deceased was born at Guttenberg, Iowa, on May 24, 1885, and therefore was 29 years, 10 months and 28 days of age at the time of his death. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic church in this city Monday morning at nine o'clock, Rev. J. H. Brinkman officiating. Interment was made in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
