Garnavillo, Ia. - Services for Charles William Packman [sic], 72, were at 2 p.m. Monday in the Tuecke Funeral Home here. Burial was in the Old Garnavillo cemetery.
Mr. Packman was found dead Saturday morning by a nephew and a neighbor. He apparently had died several days before of a heart attack.
He was born April 10, 1884, in Garnavillo Township, a son of Mr. and Mrs. John Packman [sic]. He was a lifelong resident of the community. Surviving are a brother, Henry of Guttenberg, and nieces and nephews.

Charles Tackman, 72, was found dead at his home last Saturday. His body was discovered by his nephews, Emil and Harlan Tackman, at his isolated farm home which is located in the Buck Creek area north of Guttenberg.
Sheriff Forrest Fischer, Deputy Milton Klink and Acting Coroner Ray Barton investigated when summoned by the nephews. The coroner's verdict was death from natural causes.

Services were conducted at the Tuecke chapel on Monday for Charles William Tackman, who lived on his farm home in the Buck creek area of Garnavillo. He was found dead Saturday evening by his nephew. He apparently died of a heart attack.
Tackman was born in Garnavillo township April 10, 1884, a son of John and Minnie Fritz Tackman. He never married. He is survived by one brother, Henry of Guttenberg and nieces and nephews. His parents, four brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
Burial was in the old Garnavillo cemetery.
