Castle, Paul died 1922

Paul Castle, who has made his home here almost all his life passed away at the County Home last Friday at the age of 79. The remains were brought here for burial. Rev. H.A. Crumb officiating at the grave.

He was a member of the Methodist church. "Uncle Paul," as he was familiarly called, never married, and since his health became poor he has made his home with various relatives until he was taken to Elkader about a month ago.
