DIED - At the home of his nephew, Mr. Esmond, near this place, on July 22nd, 1885, occurred the death of Jacob Edler, of old age. Mr. E., was one of the very earliest settlers of Jefferson township, having located here in 1848, and resided among us continuously since that time. Mr. E., was born in Luebeck, Germany, in 1808. His death will be mourned by all.
