Preston, 2 wk old twins died 1885

Elkader Register, 14 Jan. 1885.

Died, at the home of their parents, near Edgewood, Iowa, January 5th, 1885, Eddie and Ednie, twin children of F. _. Preston, aged two weeks. Their sun has gone down, though scarcely risen above the horizon. Their little forms rest in the same grave. The funeral was held on Wednesday, January 5th, 1885. The aged father of Mr. Preston, formerly a resident of Edgewood, but now residing in Fayette, was present, besides other relatives and friends.
