Elkader Register, Fri., 07 Mar. 1884.

It is with regret that we announce this week the death of Mrs. Owen Conners, which occurred at the home of her husband in this township, on the 5th inst., of cancer of the stomach after a long and lingering sickness. She leaves a husband and five children to mourn the loss of a dear companion and a kind. loving mother. May she rest in peace !

Elkader Register, 14 Mar. 1884.

The funeral of Mrs. Owen Connors last Friday was very largely attended. The funeral services were conducted at the Catholic church in this place her remains being laid away to their final resting place in the Catholic cemetery.
